Punto Ottico Humaneyes presents a new limited edition eyewear collection designed by Ale Giorgini for Jacques Durand.
At our newly renovated Milan boutique, on the occasion of Milano Design Week 2026, Punto Ottico Humaneyes hosts the presentation of a new limited edition eyewear collection designed by Ale Giorgini for Jacques Durand.
A project where eyewear design meets the illustrator’s unmistakable visual language—an invitation to discover the collection up close and experience design as it takes shape.
The iconic design of Jacques Durand enters into dialogue with Ale Giorgini’s visual imagination. His essential lines, simplified volumes, and distinctive use of color become the inspiration for a contemporary reinterpretation of eyewear, where form and storytelling merge.

The collection
The collection features a single model, developed in four distinct styles, each dedicated to an iconic city. The cities illustrated by Ale Giorgini celebrate the places where Jacques Durand resonates most, and is culturally relevant.
Vicenza represents the brand’s origins: the home of the atelier where every Jacques Durand creation comes to life. Then comes Milan, the capital of fashion and design; New York, marking the collection’s arrival and success in the United States; and finally Tokyo, the brand’s first major international expansion, embraced with remarkable enthusiasm by a passionate Japanese audience.
The limited edition preserves the essential, refined elegance that defines Jacques Durand’s style, featuring a flat front and sharply defined edges. Inside, the illustrated elements of each city emerge, creating a surprising interplay of discovery that weaves together design and storytelling.
Each piece becomes a small wearable artwork, where illustration and object merge —transforming eyewear into a distinctive statement capable of expressing identity, place, and vision.
Each style is available in a limited, numbered edition of 100 pieces.

ALE GIORGINI
Ale Giorgini is an Italian illustrator with an international career spanning advertising, publishing, and entertainment. He collaborates with leading brands across multiple industries, and his work has been exhibited at major cultural institutions, including Milano Triennale Design Museum, as well as at global events such as San Diego Comic-Con.
JACQUES DURAND
Jacques Durand is an eyewear collection renowned for its timeless elegance and artisanal craftsmanship. The essential design of its frames is defined by a flat front and sharply defined edges. At the heart of Jacques Durand lies its Atelier, where a unique synergy takes shape between expertise in handcrafted eyewear and the techniques and traditions of Vicenza’s goldsmith heritage. Each frame is entirely made in Italy, in Vicenza, through transparent processes that highlight the human contribution to production. The collection is led by the creative direction of Emma Concato.
